Dr Suresh Senan is Professor of Clinical Experimental Radiotherapy at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers in The Netherlands. His recent research has focussed on the use of immune checkpoint inhibitors in lung malignancies, MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy and comparative effectiveness research. He is an active member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, a faculty member at European Society of Medical Oncology for thoracic malignancies, and faculty for the European Society for Radiation Oncology Image-guided SBRT course. In 2016, he was awarded the Heine H. Hansen Award for his contributions to lung cancer care by ESMO and IASLC.
